homeassistant Privacy Policy

homeassistant is a private application used solely by its owner to connect a personal Home Assistant installation to the owner’s own Google account.

Information accessed: With the owner’s authorization, the app accesses data from the owner’s Google Nest devices, such as thermostat temperature, humidity, mode and settings, and may send commands to change those settings.

How information is used: This data is used only to display and control the owner’s own devices within their Home Assistant installation.

Storage: Data is stored only on the owner’s Home Assistant server on their home network. It is not transmitted to, stored by, or shared with the app’s developer or any third party.

Sharing: No data is sold, shared, or used for advertising.

Google API Services: The app’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Revoking access: Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
